MUMS Pharmacological Research Center of Medicinal Plants

  Objectives and programs:

• Use of medicinal plants as alternative sources to reduce or eliminate restrictions on drug treatment

• Effort to communicate and coordinate in pharmacological Research of medicinal plants across the country to exchange information between researches in order to avoid unnecessary duplication and parallel investigations 

• Cooperation with scientific research and education in other countries and international organizations with the rules and regulations of Islamic Republic of Iran 

• Fundamental scientific research applied to producers and help meet the needs of medical community 

• Providing technical resources to pharmaceutical and scientific centers under the relevant regulations 

• The more communication between basic and clinical research in drug treatment

• Create conditions suitable for training human resources in research, clinical and pharmacology base
